 Hello everyone I am the SingleShot gamer

today I am starting this blog as a place to post my text tutorials and showcase my game maker projects.

first a little bit about myself, I am a 20 something programmer.
everything I know is self taught, through the use of online tutorials and trial and error.
I've been at this for 8 plus years.
 I took a interest in making my own games when I was 12,
but really only started coding from 15. (not that I was good at it or anything)
now I feel I'm at lest good enough to teach other what I know.
while I'm not the best by far I hope you all can at lest learn something useful from me. 

I'm currently working on a tutorial series to teach others how to make
their own sonic game within game maker studio.
and will be posting improved text versions of my scripts
as well as more regular updates to my games.

I have used a few gamer development software 
over my years of learning to make games

I've used
  • GameMaker: 7 pro
  • GameMaker 8.1 pro
  • GameMaker: studio
  • Gamemaker Studio 2

and a  little of 
  • Unity
  • Unreal engine

Though I don't clam to be any good at the last two.
